A special one-day symposium on the subject of NanoTechnologies from Japan was held during PittCon 2009.

Dr David Surman, representing Kratos Analytical's parent company Shimadzu Corporation gave a lecture on 'Latest Developments in X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy and their Application to Nanosurfaces' .
