Kratos Analytical has a vacancy in the Surface Analysis Research and Development group for an Electronics Design Engineer based at our headquaters in Manchester, UK.

Candidates should have a good electronics degree and proven design experience in several of the following areas:

·         High voltage switched mode power supply design to 5kV.

·         Low noise precision analogue design.

·         High speed digital design.

·         FPGA design, ideally using Xilinx and VHDL.

·         Schematic capture ideally using Cadstar.

·         Signal integrity.

·         EMC and LVD.

·         PCB layout.

·         RoHS.

·         Design for manufacture.

The successful candidate should be able to work with a minimum of supervision to design, test and fully document each design to a standard suitable for manufacture, and to provide support for each design through its life cycle.
